Grant Information

Nonprofit, educational and government organizations can apply for funding through our competitive grant making process. Fund can also recommend grants to qualified organizations for specific projects or programs, or as an unrestricted grant. We have granted almost $35 million from our various funds since our founding in 1930. 

Organizations interested in seeking funding apply through an online grant management software system called Foundant Technologies.

To apply for a General Fund or mini grant, simply email or call Program Director Jamie Schloegel at (608) 782-3223 ext. 23 to receive the appropriate application code. Then, follow the link below to set up your organization's account.

Competitive applications to the General Fund are reviewed quarterly.  Deadlines are always January 15th, April 15th, July 15th, and October 15th each year, with decisions announced generally six weeks later.
