Grants and Scholarships

General Fund

The General Fund is designed to serve community needs through a perpetual fund. The most flexible of La Crosse Community Foundation funds, it can respond quickly to changing community needs.

How to apply

If the organization and/or project meets basic criteria and needs of the community, an application will be sent to the nonprofit 501(c)3 organization seeking grant support.

Mini-grants

Agencies who have projects less than $5,000 may apply for a Foundation mini-grant. Agencies may apply for mini-grants regardless if they have applied for a general fund grant in the same year.

Applications will be reviewed at quarterly board meetings.

Field of Interest Funds

Field of interest funds support particular areas of interest and have separate application and grant cycles. 

All applications are now available and due on March 2, 2012.

The Mary Grace Sieber Fund awarded a grant to Chileda for adapted bicycles for youth with disabilities.

Scholarships

Scholarship applications are available at area high schools and colleges. Please check with the guidance or financial aid department.
