The donor who creates a fund at the Foundation during his or her lifetime signs a gift agreement that spells out the terms of the fund.
When the gift that creates the fund is made through the donor’s estate, we suggest that the will, revocable trust, or beneficiary designation include language making the gift to the La Crosse Community Foundation, and that the terms of the fund be spelled out in a separate gift agreement.
