2024 Grant Deadlines

***ATTENTION APPLICANT:

La Crosse Community Foundation is revamping its grantmaking process for alignment with our new strategic plan. We’re not throwing it all out, we’re evolving to better meet the needs of our entire community. In order to do so with intention, we’re hosting one grant cycle for the first half of 2024 (January – June). All mini, standard, and unrestricted grant applications are due by 11:59pm on February 15th, 2024. Additional 2024 grant deadlines to be announced later in 2024.***

Interested in applying?

Step 1: Contact us

Before beginning a grant application, you must contact our Grants & Scholarships Manager to discuss your request so they can provide you with an access code to the most appropriate grant application form that best suits your needs.

They will:

  • Verify your organization and project’s eligibility to apply
  • Confirm access to the online grant portal
  • Provide an access code for the correct application form

You will need to answer the following questions:

  • What is the estimated total funding request?
  • What is the purpose of your request?
  • What is the projected timeline of your project? (i.e. 1/1/23 – 12/31/23, beginning August 1, 2023, etc.)
  • Who is the impacted audience? What is the service area? (i.e. young adults experiencing substance use disorder in Onalaska and Holmen, children below age 5 in La Crosse County, etc.)

Please contact Lauren Journot at lauren@laxcommfoundation.com well in advance of a deadline to give yourself plenty of time to work on the application. Lauren’s role is to help applicants submit the best proposal possible, so never hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Step 2: Prepare and submit your proposal online

Grant applications must be submitted through our online grant system. Access to the system is available by clicking the ‘Applicant and Grantee Login’ button below. There is also a link to login on our homepage, located in the upper right-hand corner.
