Summer Grant Award Announcement 2020

Our third quarter grant competition was the first ever to host the new Emergency Survival Grant program. This grant program was created to provide nonprofits at risk of not surviving the pandemic with unrestricted funding to help cover their fixed expenses.
Many local nonprofits have lost a significant amount of expected revenue because of the pandemic, yet their fixed costs remain. In response, we pivoted our competitive grant program to ensure we are helping nonprofits in the way they need help the most.
We saw a total of $698,103 dollars requested and had $255,226 to spend. Fortunately, our incredible donor advisors contributed another $48,400 to help get nonprofits the funding they asked for. The fund names in bold below are donor advised funds. A total of $287,118 was awarded in grants!
Some donor advisors made gifts from their funds to the general granting pool rather than to a specific request. Those funds are: Warren and Denise Loveland Family Fund, Susan M Quillin Fund, and the Kerbaugh Family Fund. Thank you!
