Working for Justice and Peace in Palestine and Israel
Join representatives from Churches for Middle East Peace to learn about the work of two women who are visiting La Crosse from B’Tselem. B’Tselem is The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territies and is based in Jerusalem. It strives to end the occupation believing this to be the only way forward to a future in which human rights, democracy, liberty and equality are ensured to all people, both Palestinian and Israeli, living between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
This is a free event. All are welcome.
Pilgrimage to Peace is sponsored by Churches for Middle East Peace – a coalition of 27 national church denominations and organizations working to encourage U.S. policies that actively promote just, lasting and comprehensive resolutions to conflicts in the Middle East.
This event is brought to you locally by Interfaith Partners for Peace and Justice in Palestine and Israel and the La Crosse Area Synod (ELCA) Middle East Subcommittee, and is funded by a grant from the La Crosse Community Foundation Global Awareness Fund.
