Garrity-Gokey Fund

A donor-advised fund established by the Foundation’s Board of Directors in recognition of Sheila Garrity’s service to La Crosse Community Foundation as Executive Director from 1992-2017. The fund is named for Sheila and her late husband Jim Gokey. As the fund’s donor advisor, Sheila looks forward to recommending grants in her interest areas to support the community where she lived, worked, raised a family and is now enjoying retirement. Sheila and Jim’s children (Nolan, Caitlin and Sean) will succeed her as the fund’s second-generation advisors.
