Valerie Burman Master of Fine Arts Fellowship

This fund provides a memorial fellowship scholarship to students pursing a Master of Fine Arts at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Preference is given to students who graduated from Onalaska, Logan or Central High Schools and received Valerie’s undergraduate scholarship award. Valerie, who passed in 2010, achieved her M.F.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1966. She went on to teach art at the University of Minnesota, the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse and Western Technical College.
