Robert & Eleanor Franke Charitable Fund

Bob and Eleanor Franke lived modestly and were kind, private people committed to doing good in their community. This fund was established through a gift from Robert “Bob” Franke’s will to benefit many programs that improve the health and well-being of people in need.  Bob and Eleanor were particularly passionate about strengthening Northside La Crosse neighborhoods, affordable housing , animal wellness projects, and projects that promote the influence of the doctrines of the Catholic Church.  They also wanted to support the post-secondary education of students in need in our community.
