Announcing seven new funds added this summer

Seven new funds were recently established by donors and approved by our board of directors. Please join us in welcoming them to the LCF family!

Every time a new fund is added it reminds us just how incredible this community is. We are humbled to work with so many folks who are dedicated to doing good here.

Roger and Angeline Haag Scholarship FundThe Roger and Angeline Haag Scholarship Fund benefits students graduating from Melrose-Mindoro High School where Angeline graduated in 1948 as class Valedictorian. Preference for awards is given to students who are seeking further education in a medical field.Scholarship
Rotary Works Legacy Club Endowment FundThe Rotary Works Foundation encourages local Rotarians and Rotary clubs to raise and distribute funds to worthy local and international projects. This fund is supported through gifts from local Rotarians who want to ensure that Rotary Works Foundation will be able to support worthy projects forever. Agency
Mildred Craig Rotary Scholarship FundThis fund was first established by the Rotary Club of La Crosse – North in the early 1990s. Scholarships are awarded each year to student graduates of Logan and/or La Crosse Roads High Schools.Scholarship
BIPOC Mental Health Counseling Graduate ScholarshipThis fund was established by personnel at Peace of Mind Counseling to support scholarships for BIPOC individuals seeking a graduate degree in mental health counseling. Peace of Mind Counseling staff invite anyone in the community interested in diversifying our local mental health support community to make a gift to this fund.Scholarship
Centering Onalaska Flower Basket Endowment FundCentering Onalaska volunteers have fundraised to purchase and maintain the 56 hanging flower baskets on Main Street, in Dash Park, and at Great River Landing in Onalaska for over 20 years. This endowment fund was created by the Centering Onalaska Board to ensure Onalaska residents can continue to enjoy the flower baskets every year in the future.Designated

Payton Zietlow Memorial FundThis donor advised fund is a memorial to Payton Zietlow who passed away in the Fall of 2021. It is advised by his mother, Amy, and makes grants for suicide prevention and to help families cope with suicide.Donor Advised
