LCF Appoints Affiliate Partners Administrator

La Crosse Community Foundation has appointed Sara Marsolek as its affiliate partner administrator. In the newly created position, Marsolek will oversee accounting, fund administration, and cash flow for the foundation’s fiscal sponsorship and affiliation partners.

Fiscal sponsorship and affiliate partners are nonprofit organizations and initiatives for which La Crosse Community Foundation manages accounting, fund administration, and cash flows, enabling them to focus on their charitable missions and community projects. The foundation’s affiliate partners include LCNI and Rotary Works Foundation. Fiscal sponsorship partners include La Crosse SOUP, River Clean Up, La Crosse, and La Crosse Jazz Orchestra.

Maintaining highest standards in fund administration and financial management

“With Sara’s diverse background in both the private and public accounting sectors, she’s undoubtedly an asset to our organization and partners,” said Jamie Schloegel, CEO of La Crosse Community Foundation. “Her role is critical in liaising between the foundation and our partners, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards in fund administration and financial management. Already, she’s bringing great value to our community.”

Marsolek came to the foundation with a wealth of experience spanning several industries, including public accounting. Known for her analytical skills and strong desire for organizational growth, she has a track record of successfully taking on complex challenges. Her previous roles involved a range of responsibilities, including financial statement preparation, payroll and benefits management for over 100 employees, and multi-state tax reporting, among others.

As affiliate administrator, Marsolek will perform essential managerial and accounting duties for foundation partners, including budgeting and financial reporting. She will also support new project development and onboarding for new partners.
