Alice O. Gordon & Viola M. Forshler Fund

In 1940, Alice O. Gordon who was a life-long educator, was the first donor to the Foundation. Earnings from her bequest are used to assist children who have disabilities. A bequest from the estate of Viola Forshler was added to the Gordon Fund in 1984, to assist individuals with visual impairments. The Fund’s name changed at this same time to also recognize Viola.
