Mary Jane Bice Fund

This scholarship fund was established in memory of her parents, Mary Louisa and Frederick T. Whitbeck, and her first husband, Alfred W. Rice, a former La Crosse Tribune editor. Rice and Whitbeck Scholarships are given to La Crosse and Onalaska public high school graduates pursuing communication studies (like journalism) or environmental studies.
